Live in the lower area in the Finger Lakes and looking for something to do tomorrow? Happening currently this weekend, including tomorrow – is both the Ithaca Festival, and the Town of Erin Wood Festival.
The Wood Festival is featuring the New York State Chainsaw Carving Championship. While there were some events that have already happened today and yesterday, some things you can be on the lookout for tomorrow include a Carving Auction, and Carver demos all day. There’s chicken BBQ, vendors, and wood crafts throughout. If nature speaks your language, the Wood Festival may be a fun outing to look into tomorrow.
The Ithaca Festival is the city of Ithaca’s big major annual festival, and it includes all of the staples you’ve come to know as a festival in the eclectic city, but with a focus on the arts. There’s plenty of musical performances, as well as comedy performances and stage dramas. Acts going onstage tomorrow include contemporary folk music artist Austin MacRae, longtime Ithaca singer/songwriter Jody Kessler, hip hop artists The Gunpoets, Irish music by Traonach, and more.
There will also be the usual craft, art, furniture, and food vendors, so be sure to bring some cash in case something unique catches your eye!
